Very easy, and very good - bang-up for a quick repast! I rubbed the steak with a footling olive oil and and so the dry fajita seasoning and so grilled information technology vs. pan frying. I did even so pan fry the peppers and onions. The salad was very good and all I added to that was a little sliced avocado and tortilla strips. For the dressing I chose "Smoked Paprika Vinaigrette" from this site - one of our favorites!

I don't know if I'll honor his request or not, merely this was so good Hubs asked that we have this again this weekend. He did think the dressing was a little heavy on the cilantro for his tastes simply I thought information technology was but fine; in fact, I idea the cumin was more prominent. I made this as directed, with an endeavor to arrange the various ingredients attractively on the lettuce. I as well included additional, optional toppings of cooked and crumbled salary and crispy baked tortilla strips. For the meat I used No Name sirloin steaks (1 (half-dozen oz.) steak was enough for the two of united states of america), and for the seasoning I used Penzey's Fajita Seasoning. As for the lettuce, (shhhh) I did not utilise Dole Just Lettuce, preferring instead to utilize romaine lettuce. This was as delicious as it was bonny. Information technology's been awhile since I've enjoyed a salad so much. (Notation: So as non to overcook the steak I removed it from the pan earlier adding the peppers and onions. In one case that was cooked I returned the steak to the pan.)

I doubled this recipe to make plenty for three people and one portion for lunch the next day. I fabricated my own fajita seasoning. We didn't use the whole amount of onion called for. In the Southwest Fiesta Dressing, I used taco sauce instead of ketchup. This was a dainty quick dinner that we all enjoyed. This would make a good "wrap" for lunchboxes.

Fabricated with chicken but will try beef next time. No olives because olives are gross. Dressing was skilful.

Loved it! This was a really great recipe, the dressing is a perfect fit for this salad. All around yum. I put out all of the components of this meal separately on the tabular array (meat mixture in one basin, cheese in another, tomatoes in another, etc.) along with salad and tortillas and then the family could choose how to swallow it. I had information technology merely as a salad only I bet it would be corking also in a tortilla with the dressing. Would definitely make once more. (PS- I did not have fajita seasoning merely used a package of taco seasoning and that seemed just fine)

First-class! I used salsa instead of ketchup in the dressing, simply I could come across trying the ketchup next fourth dimension every bit a nice fashion to counter the tartness of the yogurt and lime juice. I added some sliced avocado to this and tossed the lettuce with some of the dressing before placing all the other ingredients on elevation. So expert! Never seen my husband wolf downward a salad then fast. I'll definitely be making this again.

Six teenagers devoured this salad in minutes. I tripled the recipe and included this in a "salad" buffet served at our pool party. I marinated the meat in fajita seasoning, olive oil and lime juice for about 45 minutes before cooking it, and it was incredibly practiced on the salad (romaine). I had some actress chicken breasts I didn't use for another salad they were intended for, and marinated and cooked those this way also, and they were simply as succulent. Raves all effectually!

This was pretty darned practiced. I followed the recipe pretty closely. Except for a couple things: had some very rare steak left over from concluding dark's dinner so I sliced that up and added it to the pan when the peppers and onions were close to being done. I had no Fajita seasoning so I did as others suggested and used taco seasoning instead. I had no plain yoghurt so I figured, for the amount required forth with the strength of the seasonings, I could get away with using some stirred raspberry yoghurt. Other than that I followed the Southwest Fiesta Dressing recipe exactly. Information technology was very practiced, a perfect accompaniment. I served the whole matter on tortillas for an easy-to-go meal. My husband and I enjoyed information technology very much - I'll exist making information technology over again. Ane caveat - if serving in tortillas, cut the meat upwards into seize with teeth-size pieces.

Used leftover strip loin; didn't use the fajita spice. Really liked the southwestern sauce, just added ane/2 cup of salsa and information technology was fifty-fifty better!

My married man is simply getting over being sick and we are ill of soup! And so something lite, but filling was what we needed! The only affair was that I had no black olives, just I did have green so I used those , and I threw in some xanthous chopped tomatoes with the red. That dressing is fantastic as well!

I fabricated this salad with leftover carne asada from Trader Joe'south. Splendid! Simply substitution: cherry/grape tomatoes for the diced tomato.

Fantabulous and easy. I changed it a bit by making quick Spanish rice and putting information technology over that. Did not use the salad dressing. Just sour cream.

Fabuous flavor - served with Guac and Salsa. Would use a filet next time equally the meat was a bit tough.

Family loved it! The dressing was fantastic. I got a fajita kit instead of making from scratch. It worked well plus it had soft tortillas to eat on the side. I did add tomatoes, cheese and black beans per the recipe, only no black olives. So piece of cake and quick to prepare plus information technology tastes great.

Astonishing! The Fam loved information technology and enjoyed every last seize with teeth! We will be having this again for sure! It'd be a great dish to take for a pot-luck.

Well the veggies and meat together are great but I don't run into any recipe for the southwest fiesta dressing anywhere....non sure where other reviewers are getting it.

The dressing is what fabricated this dish. I made information technology according to the recipe except for the beans and olives. I like both, but non everyone in the family agrees. I doubled everything because of the size of the family unit. I likewise provided tortillas for anyone that wanted a traditional fajita rather than a salad. Very good! I volition make this again presently.

What fabricated this a v star is the dressing. The vegetable combination is very good but the dressing is what makes it a vi.

Thumbs up for the accompanying dressing recipe that comes with this salad recipe. Deeeee-lish. I used a sirloin steak on the barbie and used my own lettuce mix but followed everything else. My family unit actually enjoyed this salad. I"ll be making it again soon!

Loved it! Quick, easy, and the dressing was da bomb! I used i ribeye steak and followed the recipe using my own spices to create the fajita seasoning every bit that was the i thing I didn't already accept on manus. I added some cucumber and grape tomatoes too to apply up what I had. So, so skilful ?? Oh! AND I served it all in a tortilla shell bowl like in the restaurants! Yummmm
